NABCEP certification is widely recognized as the "gold standard" of installer certification. For more information and a list of NABCEP certified installers in Montana, see NABCEP's website.
**NorthWestern Energy Qualified Solar and Wind Installers: Electric customers of NorthWestern Energy are eligible for Universal System Benefits (USB) incentives from the utility of up to $6,000 for a solar PV system and up to $10,000 for a small wind system. To receive the incentive, the solar or wind system must be installed by a company that has been "qualified" by NorthWestern Energy.
