It was a warm, sunny day, and it felt great to cool off under the solar-powered misters. Here, volunteers set up the misting system in the morning.
We were thrilled to have Governor Steve Bullock as our keynote speaker. Here, the Governor chats with fair exhibitor Dan Kenworthy, owner of Kenworthy Electric of Sheridan, Montana.
One of the highlights of the fair was a series of 14 educational workshops on everything from solar electricity to small wind turbines to off-grid living. Some workshops took place in this outdoor tent.

The Red Mountain Band was one of six musical groups that performed at the fair.
Several activities were offered for kids, including model solar cars, a bouncy castle, solar ovens, and crafts made from recycled materials.
Kids made solar ovens using pizza boxes and aluminum foil.
Kids constructed solar model cars, and then raced them!
